- Is SGIP available for home battery storage right now?
- SGIP is currently unfunded, so we do not include it as money in hand on a proposal. We still check the program status and document eligibility in case funding reopens.
- What battery rebate should I check instead?
- For eligible customers, the San Diego Community Power battery rebate is the current local storage incentive to review first. Outside that territory, we verify available programs by service address and utility.
- Can I still claim a federal clean energy credit?
- Federal incentives may apply to solar and storage depending on your tax situation and when the system is placed in service. We show the incentive on paper, but your tax advisor should confirm eligibility.
- Will Nuon file rebate paperwork?
- Yes. When an active program applies to your project, Nuon prepares the application, tracks reservation status, and includes proof of install in the closeout package.
